I finally found the time to read a short post by Messari about neobanks, and there is an interesting point there: essentially, the industry has hit a ceiling. In fact, the fintech solutions we are familiar with, such as Revolut, are simply a convenient interface on top of the old banking system, rather than true innovation. The idea of DefiBank that they describe solves the problem of money control, and here Superform looks like a unicorn because it is already implementing what analysts are only planning. If you look deeper, the story is not only about saving on gas through their SuperVaults V2 but also about the user getting direct access to profitability without intermediaries. The post talked about costs, and this is probably the most painful part because no one wants to pay a 3% commission to card networks. Superform plans to get around this with its own card so that stablecoin payments go directly, without the risk of accounts being blocked by exchanges. And most importantly, the approach to exchange itself is changing: the platform is becoming a neutral router between networks, rather than a market maker. The result is a transition from speculation to the real use of money on-chain, which has been talked about for a long time but few have done.
