I thought we'd check in on the #2 top seller on Steam, Crimson Desert. It's held #2 for nearly 2 weeks which is something we just don't see very often for a AAA single player release. Last weekend looks to have been it's all-time peak, but it's still pulling 236K. Pretty crazy.

@JamieMoranUK I just don't worry about TV shows in general until I hear they're great. Gaming-based ones are no exception. Especially because the fun of the games are player agency in changing aspects of the story.

@JaeGamez Good in theory, dull in practice. The first time I saw one I thought it was trying to go for an open-ended trial kinda thing where you can deduce wrong but still get a result which might have at least been interesting if it was written into the story.

I love Crimson Desert but… The investigation quests are easily the worst part the game, BY FAR! They’re so BORING!!! 😮‍💨 You’re literally just going from point to point enduring boring dialogue and then you get quizzed at the end 🤦🏽‍♂️ As if I’ve been listening! I either do trial and error or I look up the answers because I seriously cba. I honestly think these quests could be removed from the game entirely and it would only further enhance the experience 🤷🏽‍♂️

@idonotexistelol To be fair I can run Crimson Desert with Path Tracing on but I'd rather run it in the 120fps range rather than dipping close to the 60s.

GTA 6 will not run at 60 FPS on ps5 pro, crimson desert is literally pushing the console to it's limits. So many lighting issues and weird noise in bushes it's actually the game that convinced me I want to pursue getting a PC again
