Woodruff left the game on Thursday in the 2nd inning. After the game, Pat Murphy said other starters will have to step up as the games go deeper. They have been trying to get Miz to finish 6 innings all season. Miz has pitched in the 6th inning in 4/L5 games, only missing vs the Marlins, where he had a 30+ pitch 1st inning, then settled in. Not only has Miz yet to give up more than 3 ER in a start, but he leads the league in strikeouts. The control issues show up every once in a while, but he gets a great matchup vs the Nationals.
