@skstock There's entire language-based AIs that can write term papers once you give it a few key words. The results are surprisingly OK. It'll get you a C+.

Just got a sales email for AI that writes marketing copy and blogs. I.... I do not want this. I hope no one uses this. Can you imagine trying to read 3 tips for something that was written by a garbled machine? Save us from ourselves.

@Liamo_Keogh @jmspool Good business outcomes are the byproduct of supporting customers and providing value to their lives. Getting buy in for this idea is like getting buy in that the sky is blue. Kinda sad.

The mistake we see design leaders make is they turn business outcomes into goals. When the leadership focuses their teams on these goals, it can (often unintentionally) make the user’s experiences worse. articles.uie.com/why-ux-outcome…

@jmspool Yes, bias exists. But I argue any process relying on only one method to judge someone is still at high risk for bias. Interviews favor ppl who can nav a barrage of questions. Some flourish when given a pencil. Find ways to coax the best out of ppl through modes that suite them.

@AndrewCorway Is it possible you’re from a privileged class, that doesn’t feel the brunt of the bias that comes from these exercises?

Design challenges are borderline unethical. We definitely should judge organizations that require them as being places we recommend professionals not consider applying to. Companies post jobs should have to state whether they’ll require a candidate to do a design challenge.

@scottjenson I noticed a few versions ago it began correcting a few words back from the one you're current typing. I guess because of grammar? Problem is its often wrong and hard to notice. It should stick to correcting your actively typed word.
