@JonesOnTheNBA Agreed they’ll have to make choices. Just not sure how significant. They for sure have to make a choice at the draft, assuming they keep the lottery pick. They’ll also have a choice with Dort this offseason as well. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out.

@AndrewDoutey I believe they are $25 million into second apron if they bring this team back before they account for this years first round pick. And the following year, Shai’s salary jumps from $40 million per to $60 million per. They’ll have to make choices.

Why is this a big deal? Show me other schools that are fine with their ADs not increasing revenue and not balancing the budget… Seems like pretty standard expectations for an AD at a P4 school..
Eric Bailey@EricBaileyTW

Chad Weiberg must keep a balanced budget, increase revenue annually — or face termination. The Tulsa World obtained Weiberg's new AD contract via an open records request. There is specific language with fiscal challenges that must be met. #OkState tulsaworld.com/sports/college…

Wemby had the same amount of FT attempts as he did FG attempts vs the Nuggets. 17 FGA & 17FTA. Where is all the outrage?

Signing 3 young star players to long term contracts after winning a title = title window closed. Got it. NBA twitter literally hates hoops. Everyone trying to be a “smart guy”, so they turn everything into a negative.
Frank Michael Smith@frankmikesmith

OKC spending $822 million to lock up SGA, Chet and Jalen means their title window is almost closed To keep this team together beyond next season, OKC's ownership (which is one of the poorest in pro sports) will have to set the record for highest NBA luxury tax ever paid
