We often hear the @umichmedicine / @SurvivalFlight helicopter flying overhead and know they’re heading out to help someone in need. Today the cameras shutter synced with the rotor to make it look like it wasn’t moving.

@stevewiggins I feel like it’s more insidious. The solution sounds plausible, and then after a minute you thinks”oh my goodness that is stupid,” and then if you reply they say “of course I didn’t mean the stupid thing, I meant…” and by then the conversation is moved on.

They only propose bad solutions because they can’t actually say they care about guns more than children, but they so clearly do. Whether it works is irrelevant.
They just need to bide time until things cool down and they can get back to killing people with their other policies.

@GetPinsApp Further, if you extend FTS to shortcuts actions, in “end of day review” shortcut, I could use FTS to query for “PinDate:2021-03-21” with a computed date using the Date actions.

@GetPinsApp Yes Sir - Use Case: Pin items during the day and then process those items at the end of the day. Suggestion: Extend FTS with a “Date Pin’d” attribute, allowing smart collections PinDate:Today or PinDate:Yesterday would allow one to view the items Pin’d today.
