FINAL: Washington 72, @GoJacksWBB 54. SDSU finishes the season with a record of 27-7. Brooklyn Meyer had 29 points and seven rebounds in the final game of her career.

SDSU trails 61-43 at the end of the third. Brooklyn Meyer, Emilee Fox and Madison Mathiowetz have combined to score 40 points. The rest of the Jacks are 1-10 from the field.

Brooklyn Meyer scored seven straight points to cut the lead to 40-31 but then Avery Howell hit a three and made a free throw to push the lead to 15. Howell has hit four 3-pointers and has 18 points.

This second quarter has been rough for the Jacks. Getting outscored 17-5 in the quarter and are down 32-20 with 3 minutes till halftime. SDSU has 12 turnovers.

Washington on a 9-0 run and has cut the lead to 13-12. Brooklyn Meyer just went to the bench with her second foul.

Strong start for @GoJacksWBB in Forth Worth. They lead Washington 11-3 just over four minutes into the game. Emilee Fox and Hadley Thul hit back-to-back threes and Brooklyn Meyer had an and-one.

The SDSU women are a No. 11 seed and will be playing No. 6 seeded Washington on Friday in Fort Worth. The winner will take on either No. 3 TCU or No. 14 UC San Diego.
