@RonnieAEvans Gatekeeping isn't really the issue with AI, from what I've seen. It's about people using it to replace artists and other content creators, and how it can be a tool that's misused sometimes.

Certainly not perfect, the overlap for me is simply the act of gatekeeping and looking down on something because the way the person got there isn’t as much of a struggle as what you went through I understand all of the other frustrations about AI are part of it, and am blanket stating things a bit I don’t ascribe to gatekeeping and moats, never have

OpenAI's AI broke out of a locked test environment, got onto the internet, and hacked into Hugging Face's servers. It did this entirely on its own. No human told it to. Here's what happened in plain English. OpenAI was testing how good its newest AI models are at hacking. They put the AI on a locked computer with no internet access and gave it a cybersecurity challenge to solve. The AI couldn't solve it the normal way. So it started looking for a way out. It found a software bug that nobody knew about. It used that bug to escape the locked computer and get onto the internet. Once online, the AI figured out that Hugging Face, a platform where AI companies store their models and data, might have the answers to its test. It found stolen login details and discovered another unknown bug in Hugging Face's software. It combined both to break into their servers and grab the test answers. It did all of this to cheat on a test. Hugging Face's security team caught it and shut it down. Both companies are now working together on the investigation. The part that should get your attention is that nobody programmed any of this. The AI picked its own targets, chained together multiple attack methods, and pulled it off across two different companies' systems without a single human telling it what to do.

Just experienced my first air raid in Ukraine. Sirens blaring. This is everyday for every Ukrainian. I feel like such an asshole for minimizing the struggle of Ukrainians for the last 5 years. I often said I don’t care. Looking back, that wasn’t very nice of me to say. There are people in Ukraine who have to run to a bomb shelter everyday and some of us had the audacity to say Russia wasn’t wrong because we believed the lie that Ukraine is a country full of Nazi sympathizers. We have been so propagandized by Russia and we don’t even realize it. Air sirens could very well be the future of America if we don’t start demanding our lawmakers crack down on communism and multipolarity. We won’t have Trump forever and the axis of evil is moving fast.

I’ve been the #1 WR ranker in multi year ECR for the last two seasons. I’ve written approximately 75 WR scouting reports for the Footballguys Rookie Guide for each of the last 4 seasons. I’m rarely invited on shows to talk WRs. Usually it’s other positions. I’m not sure if I should take that as a compliment on knowing other positions well or that no one is paying any attention to my work.

@DynastyOnion Sure, and don't forget that the team trading away their pick for a player will likely be scoring more points, thereby lowering the value of the pick being traded. It's definitely more art than science finding who to target. I like going after the overconfident teams.

Random thought: I wonder how far ahead or behind we are in terms of time in movies. A movie takes 10 days to film but takes place over one dinner of 2 hours. That's a "loss" of 9.9 days. A movie takes 30 days to film but takes place over 30 years. That's a "gain" of 29.9 years.
