To any fella in the comments saying “why do the Sabres need a heavy” Why do you buy insurance? Your basement probably isn’t going to flood every day but when it does like a good neighbor State Farm will be there. Same can be said for heavy’s. They’ll sit on in the press box for 60 games. But it’s nice to have them when you’re playing the fellas from Florida.

For those who need a translation you’ve got Darren Raddysh telling the Sabres bench he’s going to knock out their Captain in front of both him and the rest bench. Raddysh is the kind of player that if John Cooper didn’t give the ok this year to take head high slap shots he’d probably be making arrangements with his agent to play in the Swiss league. Yet he has no fear of telling the Sabres bench he’ll knock out their Captain. That can’t happen. Buffalo Sabres need a heavy. #LetsGoBuffalo

Unlimited my hot Russian girlfriend and I appreciate your engagements but it’s hard to argue with a fella who doesn’t know puck. His job is to be a heavy and make sure no one goes after any player of significance on his team. Not play defense and score goals. Even though he did do that in the series. Take a lap

@BarstoolChief Chief don’t listen to these fellas they don’t know puck. If Kane signs with Sabres they’ll revisit and probably make a move for Hellebuyck. If he doesn’t Sabres will stay put with their roster.

This is the whole thing. As things stand Buffalo doesn’t have a role for Kane. Is Kane really waiting for a domino in Buffalo to fall before he makes his decision?

@RobynMundyWYO Robyn i’d say they pay him 3-3.5 it’ll be for a year. Chicago has more cap space and can sweeten the pot. If I remember correctly he didn’t have a great ending with their current management.

Fellas I have a theory… What if the Buffalo Sabres are waiting to pull the trigger on the Hellebuyck trade until Patrick Kane makes a decision. Trade for Hellebuyck will certainly involve either Quinn or McLeod. If you lose one of them you’re going to have to replace another fella in addition to Tuch who is around 50 points. If you trade for Hellebuyck and miss out on Kane you’re in a world of hurt. #LetsgoBuffalo
