Does anyone have R resources to help set up a longitudinal educational dataset across several years? E.g. K-5 ed outcome data from 2017-2022 with each years data being cross sectional and linked through the years by common student IDs.

@ty_renshaw @JSchleiderPhD I think some of this comes from students becoming "wise" to universal MH efforts. The discussion around school MH has changed since the original Durlak MA & the longitudinal follow up. Culture is changing. Oh, & fidelity probably plays into this. But I usually agree w/more agency

Looking for research comparing frequencies of various behavior functions. How common is self-stimulation, whether general pop or neurodivergent, relative to obtaining a tangible? Is there any way to determine this with any sort of general trend?

I see lots of well-intended efforts to promote teacher well-being during these times but most are missing the mark because they are not addressing the root causes. Just like we need to tailor solutions to the root causes of students’ needs, the same needs to occur for educators.

@amaustin86 I went into my PhD clearly the least knowledgeable about stats compared to my peers. I felt the same as you did. By the end of my program I graciously accepted a dissertation award based on my statistical methodology. You'll get there

I’ve never taken statistics before and my first time is now as a #PhD student. I’m really trying to battle the mentality that it is “hard” and I’m “bad at math.” Today I took my time, spent 1.5 hrs on a quiz and made a 90%! I am honestly proud of myself! 🙃
