🐠 Fishing has been screwed by #Brexit but so have 🇬🇧 people, we now rely on imported fish from Russia, which isn’t as fresh or good and a huge blow to food security. “Since Brexit we've lost half the quota, we've had to lose half the crews and half the earnings have gone now.” Some of the guys that was working on board the ships have had to go and find other jobs elsewhere. My mum Eileen died last night after a 7-year struggle with Alzheimer’s and a lifetime spent fighting for the rights of women and children. We are so grateful to the NHS staff and care workers for making her as comfortable as possible to the end. She was much loved.
