@7THRINGFORPATS @MikeGiardi Alright I’m not having this conversation, that’s blatantly not true unless all you watch is Fox News. Go to college, get an education, don’t be a sheep man. Trump has made himself into this figure, past presidents don’t behave nearly this way regardless of stance/opinion

@karl_diesel Unfortunately, to most that just won’t be the reaction. I applaud you tho because I totally agree, I wish the country wasn’t so divided that the kid could do this as a once in a lifetime opportunity without hate!

If my team’s QB introduced a President I didn’t agree with, it absolutely wouldn’t bother me one bit. People are weak minded and soft. I’d be like cool, once in a lifetime opportunity, I’d hope he would if invited. A lot of people don’t align with your views. We’re still cool.

@7THRINGFORPATS @MikeGiardi Unfortunately, whether it’s fair or not, Trump has made himself such a polarizing figure that you can’t do anything around the man without it being political. Not saying that’s totally right, but it’s unfortunately reality and that’s not news

@T65L @MikeGiardi The end racism stuff is about siding with their players, not taking a political stance. It feels political now, but when it started it was as simple as it sounds, just stand up to racism, the left chose to side heavy with it. Only issue is you ofc can’t just backtrack it now

@AndrewK1115 @MikeGiardi They should simply leave it alone because most of us watch sports to get away from all of it. I wouldn't want to see maga or whatever in the end zones either.

@craigco73776878 @MikeGiardi Jeez you sound like a political conspiracist, go away. We’re talking about football here, literally the whole point, that politics and football just do not mix. It doesn’t matter majority/minority, always a distraction regardless and the goal is to win games not votes

@7THRINGFORPATS @MikeGiardi Only if you like losing! Politics and sports do not mix, period. You want your team to win, you don’t want them involved in politics. Especially not rn, Trump is too polarizing, it’s not worth potential drama

@T65L @MikeGiardi Get in trouble with their individual teams, not the league! Sorry that’s my b, didn’t specify. The NFL does that stuff to remain a socially positive stance, without definitively taking a true political stance, because most of their players aren’t white

@AndrewK1115 @MikeGiardi dude, the nfl literally puts leftist political slogans like "end hate" & stuff about racism in the end zones, and on the player's helmets.

@Pfitz777 @FFBTheGoat69 @MikeGiardi This is sad man, what a POS you are. I’m paying respect to multiple minorities and you have a problem with it, what a racist. Sorry all opinions don’t align with yours

@Pfitz777 @NFL_Ticker @MikeGiardi No but minorities are more against Trump than either in reaction to this term, look it up. That 38% approval rating doesn’t come from nowhere…

@Pfitz777 @FFBTheGoat69 @MikeGiardi I don’t disagree at all regarding Carter! I think it’s a bit concerning that nobody else on the Giants said anything tbh, but ill give you that it would’ve been better to just handle internally vs on socials for sure

@Pfitz777 @FFBTheGoat69 @MikeGiardi You’re absolutely dead wrong. Colored players want no part of trump conservative or not. End of story, if I need to explain this to you, I’m concerned I’m talking to a racist?

@AndrewK1115 @FFBTheGoat69 @MikeGiardi You are dead wrong. The majority of professional athletes are conservative. They want to keep their money and it’s not the conservatives trying to tax them to death

@AndrewK1115 @MikeGiardi Well, it did. did you miss all of that? just because conservative/patriotic players didn't bitch publicly about it doesn't mean that it wasn't an issue. They probably knew that they would get in more trouble for expressing their opinion because it was against leftist rhetoric.

@Pfitz777 @NFL_Ticker @MikeGiardi Excuse you, he’s the leader of the NEW YORK, Giants… yes I know that, every poll for decades has proven it, it’s a blue state and NFL is full of colored players. I’m an eagles fan, I LOVE that he did this, it’s a distraction for no reason, go ahead lol

@Pfitz777 @FFBTheGoat69 @MikeGiardi Not disagreeing in regard to Carter but majority of the NFL will feel the same. Think about how that divides and distracts a locker room, it’s completely unnecessary. If Darts focus was on winning football games and leading his team, you just keep your nose out of this

@T65L @MikeGiardi If and when it distracted from the game and created potential divisions within the team/locker room? Absolutely i would have! They get paid millions to lead football teams, not political parties

@The1776Journal @EmmanuelAcho overthinking this. Entire point is that politics is not a safe space in sports, your teammates will never agree with this move regardless of political affiliation or the president. Because reality is, there will always be differing opinions on a team, but he has to lead them ALL

I agree, but at the same time, the Democratic Party isn’t the most innocent party either. They speak about inclusion and love, yet, there’s countless videos where people of color have different viewpoints and have been subjected to racist comments, death threats, and even harmful threats toward their families. For example, you have AOC condemning white people for simply existing in the world, you have Joe Biden telling people they aren’t black if they don’t vote for him, and you even have people on “The View” saying “if you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet.” So please, don’t sit here lecturing me on right and wrong, when your side is just as bad, if not worse! 🫩

@NFL_Ticker @MikeGiardi Only one who needs to grow up is you! Dart is in a position to be a leader of men, a real leader considers those he’s meant to lead and represent. In this case, you don’t publicly align yourself with a man you know most of your subjects (teammates) openly hate, poor leadership

@craigco73776878 @MikeGiardi An NFL QB siding with a guy that the majority of his teammates hate, because he’s polarizing and viewed as racist, is a poor decision. He’s supposed to lead those guys, it’s more important that he be a leader than express his individual opinion. Selfish in his position
