Just in: The NBA will hold a vote at the Board of Governors meetings March 24-25 to explore adding expansion teams exclusively in Las Vegas and Seattle, with the two franchises targeted for the 2028-29 season, sources tell ESPN. There is momentum for stakeholders to approve surveying what industry executives project will be bids in the $7-to-$10 billion range for each team.

@MossVis I get your perspective, too. That's why I'm fine with the wordmarks. I just don't think there has to be imagery that connects the city/nickname in every modern design. That's like the Raiders having a sword as their pants stripe. Fun for a concept, but trying too hard in reality.

@AndrewMLind I think it balances getting rid of all titans imagery, without it there’d be nothing indicating the city or team mascot. Visually, I do get your point but I think it could grow on people.

The best way I can describe the Titans' new uniforms is trying too hard to add something unique to something that was already perfect. Just do a one-for-one recreation of the Oilers' throwback uniforms with the new logo and call it a day.

@MossVis I do like the subtlety of navy blue throughout, but I'm mostly referring to the stripes. I don't care for the guitar strings at all. Just use the stripes from their 1972-89 uniforms rather than that or the cuffs from the throwbacks (1990-98).

@AndrewMLind I like the change, it utilizes navy in a way that’s not just the Nike logo, which allows them to use it for alternates, merchandising etc.
