@ManaTJohnson It’s hard to keep up with things week to week sometimes as an adult. I’ve definitely shifted to mostly binging shows after they’re done or halfway done for probably 3 outta 5 shows I watch lately, be it anime or otherwise.

LRT literally, I’m never one to trash on people who watch anime casually or once it’s completed, but there is such genuine connection when you find others who watch anime seasonally

@SaGa_NeilB Pronunciations are so helpful in auditions genuinely! Especially for fantasy/sci-fi stuff or dubbing!

Voice actor auditions are fun. We always prepare character sheets with sample lines, and I make sure to include pronunciations of terms like character and location names. If the VA doesn’t look at those pronunciations, it’s kind of hard to choose them over other good auditions.

Nixon resigned, rather than get impeached for ATTEMPTING to spy on his political opponents and trying to cover it up. This week, Pam Bondi was caught red-handed ACTUALLY spying on members of congress. It didn’t last a 48 hour news cycle. We’ve come a long way.

@ManaTJohnson I’m the same way, pretty much unless they request two takes or I have two wildly different takes on the character.

My voice acting sin is 90% of the time I give one take. In my mind, it saves the casting director time only having to listen to one take. It saves me time cause I can get through twice as many auditions. I’m showing you my favorite interpretation of the character.
