A DAY OF GRATITUDE TO GOD 53YRS TODAY. Being alive is a gift God hands us every second, minute, hour, day, week, month or a year. No guaranteed next day or year for anyone! The Creator gives us an opportunity to pass through this world as guests, expects us to make a contribution or a mark and disappear. How do we know we are meant to contribute? The way God nit our bodies were out together! God expects us to apply our brains which he takes care of, use our eyes to see, legs to move to places, hands aren’t meant to be idle, our souls rejoice when we see the results of applying ourselves. I must admit my childhood was hard so was the last 6yrs, I turned 50 when COVID had reduced, business became hard and at one point I thought, eh! Of course if you follow what I do online, you would see i intensified work, pushed some new agendas, some just had massive issues, some are showing good signs especially this year. Tomorrow GREAT LAKES SAFARIS turns 25 something am grateful to God for because it’s clearly what God wanted me to do on this earth among other things! No one understands its pains or joys like I do! I believe that the first 25yrs of any business are for preparing for take off because you learn so much in those 25yrs, you fail a lot, you succeed some times, you learn how to build and work with teams! After 25yrs, our vision( The whole team and I ) is so clear, dreams are aligned to where we want to go. I strongly believe we are now ready for take off as a business! I know what some of you thinking after reading the above statement, we are a very small business when you compare us with serious businesses in tourism in Kenya and Tanzania. We have the potential to compete now regionally, slowly building the teams, slowing seeing the regional dream take shape by Gods grace. Of course, family has enabled me too, friends some are on this app, my workmates, some enemies have enforced my focus etc. Uganda has given the fighting spirit too! Hard business environment teaches you a lot! Gratitude isn’t for only when things are smooth, it’s also applies when we overcome or endure challenge too!
