3rd trip back to Vietnam since war ended. Happy to report the Vietnamese economy is booming. Yet…Bittersweet memories of fellow pilots and classmates who never returned. I have returned three times since the war….seeking answers….I seek the truth….yet the more I seek the truth..I more I realize the truth lies buried under lies. War is about money….that tax payers fund and young men and women and families pay for with their lives. I know the war in Vietnam was about oil….just as today’s war in Iran is about oil. There is a great book written for those of you who seek truths about wars, past, present, and future. The book is Empire of Lies written by Charles Gouette. If you seek truths….please read Empire of Lies, and not do what I did, which was to serve in Vietnam twice, killing people who only wanted what we want….our freedom to create the best life possible for family, friends,and ourselves. Financial freedom begins with your freedom to know the truth. Is that why there is no real financial education in our schools? Do our schools not want us to know the truth?
