As a friend dm'd me, $SNDA just pulled the "Andrew Walker" special (big merger followed by a massive PSU grant with ambitious stock price versting targets)

Played around with @Base44 and was surprised how easy it was to spin up apps.... but I'm a little concerned about some of the very obvious errors it makes (today is Monday, Feb 23..... it appears to be using 2025's calendar for some reason)

The Base44 / $WIX story is crazy. WIX bought Base44 for $80m when it was 6 months old and doing ~$3m in ARR. Base44 exited 2025 with ~$50m in ARR. Apparently paid ~$8m (more than a month of ARR!) for a 2025 Super Bowl ad. From start up to $8m Super Bowl ad in basically a year!

Humbling 30 year Biotech stats shared by @verdadcap in a recent report: Just over 1,000 biotechs hit $200M mkt cap at some point. Of those, 67% have lost value (had cumulative negative returns), vs 48% for all other US companies. Of these 600+ biotechs, roughly 50% were acquired at negative total returns, 10% delisted, the remaining 40% are still public and underwater for their average investor The median biotech company in this period has delivered an annualized return of -15% (vs 1% for other US Companies). It's a tough business.

Not sure I've ever seen a press release this mislabeled $SCIA
