Well Friday was a massive day for me garden’s of Middletown Farmhouse (twinned with the Shire) a huge amount of work done! 3 guys 1 day a not inconsiderable amount of money spent, but, but it’s been worth every penny 😉 Under the project manager that is the wonderful Donna 😳❤️😉🤫
But then there is only ever one certainty in life I’m afraid. But all you lovely people out there, next year Donna and I are going all out to see our thoughts, ideas and visions happen,it’s not a plan!!!!! It’s started,if it doesn’t happen then that’s because of life 😍🥰❤️
It’s now a process that we’re putting in place to happen,it’s not a plan, it’s a crazy vision that’s been held for nigh on 10 years by us both,so we’ve decided to make our tiny little thoughts and ideas and vision’s happen. There’s no certainty it will ever be finished
So as the new year approaches,Donna and I get asked, what plans we have for 2026🤷🏻♂️Nowadays we don’t do plans, they tend to not happen, life’s taught me that. What we now do is have ideas, thoughts and vision’s of how we want this beautiful old place in Sleepy Devon too become.
I suspect you may all hear from Middletown farmhouse (twinned with the Shire) a bit more often in 2026👀 😳😳😳🙄🤫🤫🤫🤞🤷🏻♂️🤔🤔🤔We’ll be back because “We know “😉😉😉😉😉😉
Good evening,Donna and I have had a quiet, thoughtful year and 9 days, pretty much away from social media ,sometimes it’s good for the soul and mind. We’ll both take this opportunity of wishing you all a wonderful Xmas.🥰😍❤️
Tomorrow (weather permitting) work starts on the removal of the leylandii 😳😳😳then Middletown Farmhouse (twinned with the Shire) will have a view not seen for 30 years ,wow😉The downside is the back garden will be a tad windier 🙄🤔Happy Sunday lovely people
This evening I’ve pulled up 6 buckets of water from Middletown’s Well and poured it into hollows in the driveway for the wildlife.Everything around us is basically dying due to a lack of water, welcome to climate change people 😔
Just been out to do a final bit of watering,Middletown farmhouse is a wonderful right proper place to live, just beautiful now.The days are inexorably pulling in as autumn beckons, but this grand old place is magnificent at this moment in time, it’s just a lovely place to live 🤫😉
