Lots of talk but the truth is many of you got duped into acting like pussy cowards because of Covid and now you are too ashamed to admit that you were wrong

I like Beavers in CF. I am very curious what will happen when Holliday returns. It looks like Jeremiah Jackson would unfortunately be sent down with Taveras out of options, but I think the O’s could survive with Cowser, Ward, Beavers, O’Neill and Alexander to keep Jackson around

An interesting Orioles Sunday lineup: • Dylan Beavers in CF • Ryan Mountcastle batting cleanup • Adley Rutschman gets a break • Colton Cowser and Blaze Alexander on the bench

Two really poor offensive performances from the Orioles to start the season. Of course it’s way too early to extrapolate any meaning from that, but I had hoped to see more early. We’re all seeing the ghosts of this team being done in mid-May last year.

So we’re just not getting the strike zone box anymore, @masnOrioles ?

@BenVerlander It’s incredibly fast, too. Blows apart any argument about it making the game more tedious.

Can we all agree after Opening Day that the ABS System is awesome. It fixed bad calls. It upheld borderline calls. And it provided entertaining drama. I found myself yelling multiple times for guys to challenge. The ABS system is awesome. Bravo baseball.

@KyleMalzhan I hate this, too. Schedule a night game the following day. Leave open for the possibility of a double header.

The dumbest thing Major League Baseball does is schedule an off day right after Opening Day. They build all that hype, then they immediately hit pause. Lol. There's my rant.

Orioles look very much like they did at the plate last year - hapless. Adley with a single as I typed that. Maybe it’s a start

Putting the first game of the MLB season on Netflix sucks, especially for older fans who haven’t embraced streaming.

@FreddieTheOsFan I’m not from Baltimore. What’s the connection with the green? It looks cool and I’m curious the rationale.

Project Hail Mary is going to be a sci-fi classic. Ryan Gosling was great. See it in the theater with a huge bucket of popcorn.

Beyond logistics, DeRosa failed miserably to get his team to play with any degree of passion. They did not care. That's on the manager just as much as the team captain

A lineup filled with generational talents and Hall of Famers played lifelessly through the entire tournament, while the best hitters were benched during key moments. Fans should not have better instincts and insights than the manager - and that's exactly why DeRosa needs to go

As disappointing as the end was, the WBC was great. Strangely, the worst part was how much of a slog it felt like to root for a US team stacked with generational talent
