JUST DROPPED: Anthropic's research proves AI coding tools are secretly making developers worse. "AI use impairs conceptual understanding, code reading, and debugging without delivering significant efficiency gains." -- That's the paper's actual conclusion. 17% score drop learning new libraries with AI. Sub-40% scores when AI wrote everything. 0 measurable speed improvement. → Prompting replaces thinking, not just typing → Comprehension gaps compound — you ship code you can't debug → The productivity illusion hides until something breaks in prod Here's why this changes everything: Speed metrics look fine on a dashboard. Understanding gaps don't show up until a critical failur and when they do the whole team is lost. Forcing AI adoption for "10x output" is a slow-burning technical debt nobody is measuring. 50% of all relationship advice on Reddit is “leave.” 15 years of data, 52 million comments, and the trend line only goes one direction. A researcher filtered r/relationship_advice down to 1,166,592 quality comments and tracked what people actually recommend. In 2010, “End Relationship” sat around 30%. By 2025, it’s approaching 50%. “Communicate” dropped from 22% to 14%. “Compromise” collapsed from 7% to 3%. “Give Space” fell from 25% to 13%. Every category that requires patience lost ground every single year. The one category growing faster than “leave” is “Seek Therapy,” which went from 1% to 6%. The subreddit is slowly learning to say “this is above my pay grade.” Train a model on this dataset and it would absolutely tell people to break up. The training data is 50% “leave” and climbing. The model wouldn’t be broken. It would be accurately reflecting what 52 million commenters actually believe about your relationship. A 50% prior that you should leave, a 14% prior that you should talk about it, and a 6% prior that you need a professional. That’s not LLM psychosis. That’s the median human opinion on your relationship, backed by the largest advice dataset ever assembled.

I've used em-dashes my whole life — they add rhythm and grace to writing. But now they're an AI tell. Can we get a grandfather clause for those of us who were fluent in em-dashes before ChatGPT launched in November 2022?

Absolutely astounding figures from the NY state comptroller: spending on services for the NYC street homeless population ran to $81,705 per person last year, up from $28,428 pp 6yrs ago. Figures do not include all kinds of other spending, supportive housing, policing costs etc.

CBS News is doing real journalism A Skokie woman claimed she and her 5 coworkers were detained by federal agents after they got off their flight at Chicago O'Hare from Turkey They said ICE sent them to detention centers CBS investigated and learned it was ALL A LIE “Here's the thing - The Cook County Sheriff's Office says they looked inside the Broadview Processing Center. They did not find Naqvi there - The Dodge County Sheriff's Office says she was never in their custody - And now we're seeing that her employer is saying that she's not even an employee with them.l, and this was all for a work trip apparently We've also found that Naqvi pled guilty to making a false police report in a sexual assault case downstate. A few years ago, we have reached out to her attorney again. We've reached out to her sister, elected officials. They have not gotten back to us. We did hear back from her sister. She says they just want privacy at this time”

I’ve been working terrorism issues since college, decades now, and I’ve never seen the level of terrorism sympathizing and outright Islamist rhetoric that exists right now in this country. Not even close. Muslim friends of mine overseas are constantly messaging me telling me to stay away from this location or that location in my own backyard because they are hearing about plotting. This is separate from the massive homeland plotting being directed by Al-Qaeda. Yet many people want to put counterterrorism in the rearview mirror as if the threat somehow disappeared. It didn’t. Not with more than 18,000 Islamist extremists currently on U.S. soil. Pretending the problem is over does not make it go away. It just guarantees we will stay unprepared in a fight that has never actually ended. The days of burying our heads in the sand as a nation are over. We should not have to wait for the next 9/11 to fix a failing counterterrorism posture inside the United States. To be honest, the FBI has not been reformed in a way that meets the scale of the threat we face. What exists now is not good enough for the battles in front of us as a nation. This is a watershed moment whether people recognize it yet or not. We have two decades of warfighters, intelligence professionals, and practitioners here in the United States who understand this enemy better than anyone. If the institutions responsible will not adapt, then it is time something changes. Because ignoring the threat will not stop it. It will only ensure the cost is far greater when reality finally catches up.

I’m pleased to confirm that I have agreed to continue working with MP Rupert Lowe for another 12 months so we can keep exposing the rape and torture of children in the UK. Over the past year our team has been working towards publishing a major report into the rape, torture and murder of children, and how authorities across the UK turned a blind eye — and in many cases were complicit — for decades. We will continue bringing these harrowing truths to the public. We are also assisting in ongoing criminal investigations and look forward to the possibility of private prosecutions taking place. We have already helped survivors begin legal proceedings against the authorities that failed them, and we will continue supporting others seeking justice. I’d like to thank our team, our donors and the public for their continued support. Most importantly, I want to thank the survivors, families and whistleblowers who are working with us and showing immense courage. There is still a huge amount of work ahead of us. The scale of this task is enormous, but we must all do everything in our power to bring these injustices to the forefront and ensure those responsible are held to account. Thank you @RupertLowe10 @rapeganginquiry

Wait, these socialist antisemites are the “moral” leaders our country needs? A dude with a nazi tattoo and a mayor who’s refused to condemn globalizing the intifada? You’re not against antisemitism if you use antisemites to promote your brand.

Candace Owens today SHAMELESSLY engagement-farmed footage she’s been sitting on for nearly six months of Charlie Kirk’s assassination from behind: “EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: The Footage Behind Charlie’s Head.” There was no reason for her to show it today that she couldn’t have shown it at any point over the past six months - other than that she knows people are getting bored of her show going nowhere and wanted to pull them back in by exploiting Kirk’s death once again. She then immediately segues into rambling about the usual occult, Frankism, Baal, and child-sacrifice rhetoric that has absolutely nothing to do with Charlie Kirk’s death. *I cut out the part showing Charlie Kirk being shot. Candace didn’t even bother with a content warning as she played it over and over. It’s still disturbing even without “gore” to see Kirk being killed. If you want to see the full footage, it’s available in her episode.

Yesterday Mark Cuban reposted my work, DM'd me, and told me to keep telling my story. So here it is. I'm a Master Electrician. IBEW Local 369. 15 years pulling wire in Kentucky. Zero coding background. I didn't go to Stanford. I went to trade school. Every week I'd show up to a home where someone just bought a Tesla or a Rivian. And every time, someone had already told them they needed a $3,000-$5,000 panel upgrade to install a charger. 70% of the time? They didn't need it. The math is in the NEC — Section 220.82. Load calculations. But nobody was doing them for homeowners. Electricians upsell. Dealers don't know. And the homeowner just pays. I got angry enough to build something about it. I found @claudeai. No coding experience. I just started talking to it like I'd explain a job to an apprentice. "Here's how load calcs work. Here's the NEC code. Now help me build a tool that does this." 6 months later — @ChargeRight is live. Real software. Stripe payments. PDF reports. NEC 220.82 calculations automated. $12.99 instead of a $500 truck roll. I'm still pulling wire. I still take service calls. I wake up at 5:05 AM for work. But something shifted. Yesterday @vivilinsv published my story as Claude Builder Spotlight #1. Mark Cuban saw it. The Claude community showed up. And for the first time, I felt like this thing I built in my kitchen might actually matter. I'm not a tech founder. I'm a dad who wants to coach little league and be home for dinner. I just happened to build something that helps people. If you're in the trades and thinking about using AI — do it. The barrier isn't technical skill. It's believing you're allowed to try. EVchargeright.com

Here in Tijuana, Mexico sources tell me this Islamic Mosque behind me just two blocks away from the U.S. border should be a national security concern now that the U.S. is at war with Iran, this mosque opened up since 2022 and has harbored special interest aliens with terrorism ties who coordinate with with Mexican criminal smugglers to cross illegally with the U.S. I spoke with several East African men who have been at this mosque for a week and confirmed that at least one Iranian national is here now Working on a full story stay tuned

What Candace Owens shared yesterday was the most shameless piece of content I have witnessed since walking this earth. I have tried my hardest not to speak on it to draw attention to it but to play the death of Kirk on your channel for the world to see as you read from a teleprompter has left me stunned and is the main reason I didn’t tweet as much as I normally do yesterday. I was just that disturbed. I can hold my tongue no more, we should have a limit, my God what has happened to this party I knew and loved.
