For weeks the PM said fuel supply was “secure”. Now the Minister admits the reality Australians already saw. Many servos are out of fuel, including on the Sunshine Coast. This isn’t panic buying. It’s a Government that hasn’t been upfront.

For 10 years I’ve raised corruption in the building industry, especially within the CFMEU in Vic & Qld. Now we’re seeing the scale. This drives up costs and hurts honest businesses. We need transparency, accountability, and real action.

Labor still won’t answer the hard questions. The PM’s had to step in and do Chris Bowen’s job, while Australians get spin and silence. You can’t just say there’s no issue. People are feeling it at the bowser every day. Australians deserve honesty and accountability.

Thursday in QT the Energy Minister said there was no fuel problem and no need to panic. Friday the Government released 20% of Australia’s fuel reserves. Now stations in Caloundra are running out of diesel. Our tradies, fishers and transport operators deserve answers.

In Parliament today I asked: how is an accused NZ child sex offender able to live on the Sunshine Coast? Were character checks done? The Home Affairs Minister has powers under the Migration Act. They should be used. Cancel the visa and remove him. Community safety must come first

Dennis Richardson is one of our most respected national security figures. His resignation from the antisemitism Royal Commission, saying he felt “surplus to requirements”, raises serious questions. The Government must explain what went wrong. Victims’ families deserve answers.

Today in Parliament I paid tribute to Joe Tolano, a young Sunshine Coast surf lifesaver who tragically lost his life last week. Joe was one of our own in the surf lifesaving community. My thoughts are with his family, friends and his club.

Thrown out of Question Time today for asking why Mooloolaba fishers have run out of diesel. Last week the Energy Minister said Australia had 34 days of supply. Nine days into the Middle East conflict, boats on the Sunshine Coast can’t fuel up. Australians deserve answers.

Last week Chris Bowen claimed Australia had 30–35 days of fuel supply. Nine days into the Middle East conflict, I’m told there’s zero diesel on the Mooloolaba wharfs. Boats can’t leave port and our businesses are affected. The Government has serious questions to answer.

Met with RangeCare in Maleny, a not-for-profit supporting 1,800 Sunshine Coast seniors. They back aged care reform, but Labor’s rollout is chaotic: unclear pricing, broken systems and delays. Older Australians deserve certainty and proper implementation.
