There’s always need for discipline and coherence, but in a way it’s a shame we can’t keep a bit more of that relaxed flow once the election has finished. It might resonate a bit more with the public. (2/2)

There’s a period - a few hours after election polls close until a few days later - where those giving political interviews can hit a much better pitch. Not all interviewees by any means, but you hear more reflection and more openness than is usually the case. (1/2)
