@DavidARay @nwademgaz @ArkDems I think we said the amendment was unnecessary because we already have laws to prevent noncitizens from voting. Which your example proves. Turns out, we were right.

When I introduced the Citizens Only Voting Amendment last legislative session, an @nwademgaz editorial criticized me and said this was a made-up problem. @ArkDems in the House of Reps argued the same exact thing. Turns out, they were wrong! #arpx arkansasonline.com/news/2026/jan/…
