Make sure you know what you're retiring to. This was a hard post to write. I almost didn't write it in fact. I've started and trashed this story many times. But I believe there are important lessons in this story we can learn from. Warning: this does not have a happy ending.

@GregAbbott_TX Agreed. Indoctrination, where children are taught unproven falsehoods meant to control them is best left to churches and other religious institutions.

Our schools are for education, NOT indoctrination. We must get kids back to fundamentals of learning & empower parents with the tools to challenge the curriculum when it falls short of expectations. No one knows what is better for a child’s education than their parents.
