@Andriatic I would just kill for some kind of change that makes her blaster even remotely useful to swap to, either more damage / faster bullet travel time, quicker swap speed and beam connection post switch, something. Feels like you only really want to be using that during ult it’s unfort

As much as I hate the GA nerfs they’re not THAT bad just super boring. I’d still like the changes pulled back a bit, but as long as you know how to position you won’t be dying much still anyways (GA perk helps alot tho LOL)
I’m just greatful they didn’t mess with the CD again 😭

@leonardoluizli1 The issue with Mercy’s kit is any nerf to GA only encourages the passive solo pocket playstyles, and that in combo with flash heal becoming base kit, she’s even further inclined to do so
She def needs a bigger rework in the long run but I dont think they’re brave enough to do it

@leonardoluizli1 Yeaa I do think regardless of if they were trying to change up movement overall, hitting more than only a few random heroes would’ve been better. If Mercy’s GA had to be nerfed I also feel like there could’ve been better options

Like I’ll take ANYTHING over them increasing GA’s CD
When they did that in season 3 or whatever, it genuinely felt horrible with how it broke her kit’s synergies with res/beam breakage
You shouldn’t slingshot after every GA anyways, so it’s nice to have the base CD shorter

First game I played as Sierra I used a tracking shot on a Bap, so he just threw down lamp and sat there staring at me knowing I couldn’t break it LOLOL

It’s so funny how Mercy players have asked for reworks that make her more engaging/higher skill for years, so they nerfed her mobility and added flash heal to base kit (plus a perk that gives you two of them) which just encourages hard pocketing a single DPS all game even more 😭

@Agna_qela Yeah thats a consequence of a rework, but most high rated Mercys have been vocal about reworking her kit to be more fair for a while
I do think her popularity has caused blizz to be hesitant to change her, but IMO its better for the health of the hero/the game if she was changed

@Andriatic I feel like the main issue is her player base. Mercy players are very devoted to the character for many many years and they like her playstyle as is. If the rework goes wrong they could lose an entire community.

I’m super happy to have flash heal become base kit, but a bigger rework should still be their priority
Her current design is outdated and her utility is near impossible to balance cus she’s either meh or oppressive
This change helps but doesn’t fix the core issues with her kit

@azelthia Yeah that would help her in general and would put her on par with other supps like Juno or Ana who can weave dmg and healing shots with just their weapon

@Andriatic One of the things that I think would be so good for her is to do damage via the staff instead of pulling out the pistol all the time
I feel like if she had consistent access to both healing and damage she’d have a much more enjoyable time in the current state of overwatch

I personally am very open minded to see what they could do with her, as long as GA remains what it is now
I also understand why they want her to lean into the specific idea of being a pure healer or whatever but I think that just doesn’t fit in modern day Ow
