I was in Gent at those 2000 European Indoors. Always remember how modest an indoor arena it was but it held 3000 & had a great atmosphere. Wish our NIA had a back straight of seated accommodation to make it even a 2000 capacity arena…capable of staging a European Indoor C’ships.

Nine athletes won their first-ever national senior titles at the weekend, and dozens won their first medal. At the other end, Saragh Buggy won her 23rd! Well done to all.
