We need to listen to Mr Rosen. He is correct with regard to how children learn and the skills they require. If it's the nonsense of phonics teaching or the ridiculous teaching of grammar 'rules' in primary school, I trust Mr Rosen more than I trust a typical MAT CEO.

I think you may need to brush up your spelling. England’s state schools do a brilliant job on teaching good writing skills. You and yours should try them one day

Remembering Archie Wilkinson who passed away OTD in 2021. He started out racing cycle speedway moving to the shale with Cradley Heath. He rode for a few clubs retiring in 1972. 2 years later he set up Wilkinson Wheels building wheels & frames for cycle speedway. R.I.P. Archie
