Bucket loads of #frogspawn and #toadspawn over the past 3 days. Frogspawn is in clumps and the toadspawn is pairs of eggs in strings. Every day's a school day. 🙂🐸

@AndyCountryside Wow. I haven’t seen toad’s spawn for many years. I’ve got a few blobs of Frog’s spawn in my new nature pond so I’m happy.

@EileenFindlay3 A couple of weeks at least. Apparently spring moves north at walking pace. But yes, its a fab time of year! 🙂

@AndyCountryside I like toads. We rescued one last year. It had toppled into a bucket with some cold water at the bottom. We put it in with some plants in a planter; moving one leg at a time in slow motion, interspersed with pauses, it lowered itself elegantly out of the pot in some disgust.
