So considering some Celtic fans invaded the pitch before the end of the title decider match v Hearts (causing the match to be abandoned a minute early) and reportedly attacked Hearts players….will the SPFL deduct points from Celtic?

I suspect this might rumble on. Celtic manager Martin O’Neill was told by the 4th official that there was still time left to play when the pitch invasion by Celtic fans occurred.

Amongst all the controversy around last night’s penalty to Celtic, there’s another important point being forgotten.
The team at the top going into the split (Hearts) nearly always has the final game at home. The home tie was inexplicably given to Celtic too.
