@GenericExcept @RailroadRaccoon Copper sulfide mines have not once ever not polluted its local watershed. The boundary waters is a big part of Northern MNs identity, and mining it is a net negative on the whole region’s economy and jobs. Personally don’t think the federal gov should have a say in that.

@RailroadRaccoon Yall act like mining or drilling makes a landscape barren. You simultaneously want cheaper stuff but also want us to stop creating value of our own resources. Pretty retarded if you ask me.

Is that why republicans passed legislation to mine in the Boundary Waters?
