Agree with Steve Clarke. Disappointing hearing booing at Hampden after Scotland qualified for the World Cup to end nearly 30 yrs of failure. Poor against Japan, no excuses, but it's a friendly. Some players played who wouldn't normally. Just a bit of perspective.

A suitably scrappy goal to settle a game that was never going to get pulses racing at Hampden. Japan neatly and tidy on the ball and certainly the better team on the night. Second half better from Scotland after a fairly insipid opening 45, but not sure we learned much.
