@UprightSpeedway As you said, without comparing the 2, Emma did the job she was asked to do including numerous 'gap filling' interviews (& will no doubt improve as she learns more). Abi also started slowly but grew to love the sport & her enthusiasm (& homework) could never be faulted. #different

@UprightSpeedway (2) doing this. It's bloody dangerous for both parties. He could cause his opponents to crash OR get his own leg caught up and both riders to be badly injured. BZ was clearly angry at this whilst Polish fans and media clocked it with such comments as "ban him from the next gp"

@UprightSpeedway Said this at the time. I can't abide the rider in yellow so I'm biased, however he's getting a real reputation for 'drawing riders in' to break tye tapes in Poland (there's a lot in Polish press about it and among riders). And this is the third or fourth time hes been filmed (1)

There are some cracking photos from the 1983 world final and this one shows how Billy gave 110% that day. I'm pretty sure he knew he was good enough to win it and if it wasn't for Egon, that track and that engine...

@Marillionmark @UprightSpeedway Billy is still sadly missed, I'm not sure even winning that day would have saved him though, he was betrayed by his friend and the woman he loved (although John Berry said their marriage was extremely volatile).

@AndyHawthorne7 @UprightSpeedway He also said he himself should have been World Champion in 1976, which is quite possibly the most ridiculous statement ever! He also said Carter was going to be World Champion in 1981, which he wasn’t. For all his accomplishments, he talked nonsense at times!

Muller (like Szackiel before him) was never given the credit deserved for winning the title.
