Whatever you think of Bowen as a captain, as a man he has very few equals. He’s absolutely gutted, crestfallen, and has made noises that he wants to stay. Like everyone, I’m hurt at this but not angry at Jarrod ⚒️

Will West Ham make the signing of Lamadrid permanent? Will we have to endure another season of Boyle Sport as the sponsor? These need clarification.

@RyanMarkMac @WHUFCFZ Boring football, uninspiring track record in the prem… we shouldn’t be in this position. I would argue, however, that we need to focus on the task in hand. We can’t think about the prem yet, we have to get out of the championship, and Parker is good at doing that.

@tonywood6666 @WHUFCFZ He’s worth pursuing. When we got relegated last time, I thought Chris Hughton was nailed on. Whatever we think about Allardyce, I was surprised to get a manager of his calibre on board in the championship. Maybe we could convince Frank.

“Hierarchy’s failures” Funny how all of a sudden these journalists suddenly want to blame the owners after years of blaming the fans.

@ChairmanHuntJnr I guess we’ve kind of expected this, and blame is shared amongst many parties. We’ve got some great players but they don’t necessarily have the personalities, which is not their fault. Still, had we lost 3-0, it may have been a different picture…

@AndyJPhipps I thought it was quite a friendly and good-natured relegation and there wasn't much grumbling or in-fighting in the crowd at the end. There would have been riots(feeble ones) at WHL had it gone the other way.

Relegation hurts, but I really loved seeing all the hammers fans that stayed at the end, chests puffed out, clapping the players. It sucks, of course it does, but what would break my heart even more is losing the true West Ham faithful. The old cliche ‘We go again!’⚒️ #coyi

@WestHamViews_ @TimesSport I’m not sure why people would want Bilic. A wonderful guy, and yes, plays attacking football, but his stock is hugely down as a manager. He never stays anywhere for that long.

West Ham is expected to activate a clause in Nuno Espirito Santo's contract that will see him leave the club without any compensation being paid. Former players Scott Parker and Slaven Bilic are likely names to be considered as potential replacements. [@TimesSport] #WHUFC #COYI

This is one of the hardest days of my football career. I’m devastated for our fans, for everyone at the club and for what this means after 7 years in the club and in the Premier League. Think this is the 6th relegation for us I’ve watched in my lifetime…..supporting West Ham isn’t easy and you don’t support West Ham for the glory…we will be back, just a matter of when ⚒️
