Clear and obvious?

@Archerc83 Maybe but I don’t think you can call it a clear and obvious error when similar goals have been given all season. Arsenal’s winner v Man United on the opening day was almost identical. I think the winner at Newcastle was similar too

You have to feel for West Ham there. That could be the difference between relegation and survival. Was that a foul? I don’t think so. Some people might. But was it a clear and obvious error? There was multiple pulling and pushing on both sides.

@AndyKerrtv What player would get it though? It never goes to anyone in the back five and I wouldn't say any of their attackers particularly deserve it. Rice is the obvious one but he has 4 goals, 5 assists, Fernandes has 8 goals 19 assists

Bruno Fernandes has had an exceptional season but if Arsenal go on to win the Premier League and Champions League, not giving the Footballer of the Year award to one of their players may feel a bit like when Ginola won it in 99

@AndyKerrtv Sometimes a team can be good as a collective sum of parts, but the more befitting individual play elsewhere. Not saying this has to be the case here, but the best player does not, and should not need to come from a winning team.
