As a football fan, it’s best not to get too attached to a player. Eventually they all move. You can’t fault what Bruno has done for Newcastle. However you’d like to think #nufc would hold firm on this one. 60m for their captain is so far below his value it’s almost insulting

@AndyKerrtv @kendallrowanx He’s nearly 29. He missed 14 matches last season and didn’t look the same when he returned. Despite his number of assists for Brazil, he looked average in the World Cup. I’d say if anything, Arsenal are taking a gamble on a player who could be on the decline performance wise.

@phychem11 60m might seem a fair deal if you’re buying. It’s a terrible deal for Newcastle because he’s invaluable to them. You can’t put a price on leadership. He won’t be Arsenal captain so the 2 clubs would put very different values on him.

@AndyKerrtv @NostalgicNUFC @MonacoRebooted Clubs need to be sustainable so that any owner is simply a temporary custodian and can't jeopardise the future well being of institutions. Never be a perfect system but a league full of crooks and dirty money we don't need.
