I've spent lots of time sharing psych science outside academia. Podcast ing @OpinionSciPod, YouTube vids, helping edit @SPSPnews' blog, etc. All of it mostly just for the love of it and a service to a science I value. But once in a while, a real award is a nice recognition 😊

Whoa! Just saw that @OpinionSciPod just crossed another neat milestone: 200,000 downloads! It's certainly not the biggest podcast in the world, but for an indie social science show, I'm pretty proud of that. (And I *promise* more episodes are on their way. Sorry for the delay!)

And if you were wondering, "type high" refers to the standard height of material to be printed: 0.918 inches. This exact standard is important because if you're "A" is 0.01 inches below your "B," they won't print with the same intensity (or at all!). So .918 = 9-18 = Sept 18

I can't help but see my interest in letterpress as yet another extension of my scholarly interest in persuasive communication. This was the breakthrough that enabled mass communication. (Soon you'll get to hear about it on @OpinionSciPod!)
