I explored #ChatGPT today in 🇱🇹 & about 🇱🇹, & saw a different side of it. My lesson--this tool requires intellectual maturity & knowledge of how the algorithm works. Papers like this are quite essential reading, I should admit dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/34…

@geelong71 Agree. We know our students and that isn’t going to change. But we need to consider stepping away from single submission essays. Things also become more challenging when essays are anonymous and corporately marked in higher grades.

It’s crazy to see your own job advertised but yes it’s true I’ve got a new position lined up. Was a very tough decision but know I’ll stay in touch with my Barker family! I can’t speak more highly of my team, if you’re interested - get applying. Huge shoes to fill 🙊

@MsMelissaBrady @geelong71 Been thinking about how we as educators approach this, and I think it needs careful consideration. One hand, teachers could use it for prompts and lessons planning, sample responses. Other hand, it will prompt us to consider a new way to assess understanding and skills
