@HorseSpot1 If that's the case then why not pull the horde up? I could tell on the first circuit he was too far back to even get close to the leaders,Sean did nothing to improve the horses position and came home 8th passing tired horses,it happens everyday more so in national hunt

@AndyRitchie12 I wouldn't say that, standard of racing not great, they tend to be more inconsistent at this level, no reason they'd be trying to lower the mark when it's ran well numerous time off that or better in the past

Racing isn't the best today, to say the least. Manage to pick out 2 bets at Plumpton though: 3.25 Plumpton - Birdman Bob - 7/1 - 1/4pt each way (4 places). Race record around here reads: 41SU22UR26 That record over the flat 2m reads: 1SU22 Placed off marks of 93-96

The Reverend (2.40 York @ 7/4) This horse has been in my tracker since debut and his loss in July (after 8 months off) can be scratched off for sure when looking like he needed the run and maybe a step up in trip. Lost me money again NTO when getting that step up in trip, but an extra 3F on heavy ground is always a tough ask and came 2nd once again. Redeemed himself NTO over the distance at Ascot at 4/1 beating 3 LTO winners. Stepping up in trip again and I think he will be extremely hard to beat. Biggish win single and in my medium stakes win trixie

@DFrankcom Would you not expect Kim Baileys horse to be ready more than Nicholls horse? Baileys record from October to about early December is phenomenal! Nicholls horses definitely need a few weeks usually

@RacingGav Yeah it's wrong plenty of names to go through to call your horse,that Melon one takes the mick a bit especially how good Mullins version was compared to that yak on the flat

@AndyRitchie12 I'm glad somebody is talking about it.
I just think it's hugely disrespectful and tarnishes the name, especially when the newer horses will be very unlikely to reach the same heights.
Imagine a new football club forming and calling themselves Real Madrid, it couldn't happen..!

@RacingGav Richard Hoiles was lamenting it yesterday on Racing TV! Horse called Fighting Fit running at Galway and horse with the same name won big jump races in the 70's! Jumps trainer by me when I was a lad called Richard Lee his best horse was a chaser called Delius then same name in Arc

Don’t get me wrong, Lake Victoria was super impressive and maybe would’ve won anyway but that was not a trying effort from Keane on Babouche whatsoever
