@Seanofthesouth That picture was widely shared at the time by the local press, it harks back to the dark days of Gerard rice & his ilk doing all in their power to stop/reroute parades, the significance of the image is that despite all efforts to demonise these efforts where overcome.

Funded to replace paramilitary images & ends up placing a loyalist band on the Ormeau Road site of Sean Graham massacre where 5 civilians were murdered.
That’s not re-imaging, it’s erasing context with an implicit gloating of a grotesque macabre event.
