Shortly after HardLore started, I bought a watch with a GMT hand (a third hand that lets you set a 2nd time zone), and I was so excited to show Bo that I had immediately set it to Chicago timezone. Chicago and its community has always meant a lot to me and my bands, but it symbolically a became a second home over the last 4 years. My heart is forever with all of you, and that hand will always tick to Chicago time… ❤️ 🤍 🩵

In loving memory of Bohan Daniel Lueders… Starting tomorrow on HardLore, we have the first of three final projects recorded with our beloved brother and the other half of this show from the beginning. In January of this year, we had the idea to interview each other in great detail about our childhoods, formative years and beyond in a nearly 3 hour conversation that (at the time) we deemed was too personal to release. Now I believe there is a greater purpose to this conversation, and despite some parts being difficult to listen to given the current circumstance, it is an absolute miracle that it exists. I sat with it all day the day after he passed just to hear his voice again, and found that rather than being struck by the pain of him being gone, there was relief in feeling like he was back in the room with me. I take comfort in knowing that in many ways, he always will be. I am so lucky and grateful to have thousands of photos with my best friend, and countless hours of footage, so let that inspire you all to do the same. Just take the damn pictures. You’ll be glad to have them. In this time of unimaginable shock, and pain, I thank you all for your kind words, stories and support for Bo these last few days. I wish he could have seen it. For Bo, Forever.

One of Kodo Fuyuki’s dying wishes was to wrestle Shinya Hashimoto one last time in a barbed wire deathmatch at Kawasaki Stadium on 5 May 2003. Fuyuki passed before it could happen, so Hashimoto and Kintaro Kanemura carried his ashes into the wire as his wife sobbed at ringside.
