I believe Geoff was controlling the decisions this year to create the image that E33 is an other-worldly game, because some of the awards given to it were eyebrow-raising and didn’t feel like they went through any real voting process & this backfired cause the game ain’t that at all

@melinoesfrog U gotta understand the two games aren’t even trying to do the same thing. Silksong has its own style, and it’s great, but Expedition 33 pushed the art direction way harder this year. Is about which one delivered a stronger artistic vision. E33 just exceeded more in his art
