A man who just finished building his house sent me his solar setup and said it can only power lights, a fan, or a TV. It cost him a little over ₦600K to achieve all that, including the panels. At least he can use it to generate his own electricity pending when power becomes stable in the area.

@Andysonsmiles @VillageParrot It’s not true. It doesn’t carry everything. I am privy to information on a big hotel and supermarket in Lagos with over a 100m solar set up, they still pay heavy Nepa bills and even have generators. They alternate it. You can’t fully go solar.

@jeffoprah @VillageParrot Then their setup must be outdated. I've worked with my parent company in mega solar projects that are fully Off-grid. In recent time, one of the big beach resorts in epe! Fully on solar 24/7. 40 rooms all AC. No Nepa line or whatsoever. I'm talking Mega watts of solar system!

@ptreatshaven Hanty go get small solar system.. That you fan would work for 20hrs no shaking... Get the ITEL power tank or something within ur pocket reach.. Getting a new rechargeable fan won't solve the heat issue..
