I hope it doesn't come to that. The last time we had a World War, only the U.S. possessed nuclear weapons, which ultimately ended the conflict.
This time, multiple major powers have them, and it could literally send us back to the Stone Age. Red markets, quantum threats, and AI taking our jobs would become distant worries.
I'm still hopeful that this ends soon for everyone's sake. Having a front-row view isn't exactly exciting.
