BREAKING 🚨 #OrangeCounty / #California A Flood Watch has been issued for the majority of Southern California excluding San Diego County from 4:00 PM Tuesday through 10:00 PM Wednesday. A powerful winter storm is forecast to arrive Tuesday night through Christmas Day bringing possibly heavy rain and higher snow levels. A few thunderstorms are also possible. Total rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches are likely in all areas with localized amounts of 4-8+ inches possible, especially on the lower coastal slopes. Rainfall rates may also approach 1 in per hour in some locations. Be prepared for the potential of flooding and flash flooding as well as rock, mud, and debris flows, especially below recent burn scars, and heed all evacuation orders. The snow level should remain above 8,000 feet through most of this storm, lowering later on Christmas day and Friday.
