Claude AI just got rupee pricing in India, its second-largest market at 5.8% of global usage. Funny thing is, the dollar plan was cheaper. USD billing came to roughly ₹1,700, while the new INR plan costs ₹2,399. The premium buys you convenience: direct rupee billing, GST included, and freedom from international cards and forex charges. As India's AI adoption climbs, more global companies will localise pricing like this. Watch this space.
