I don’t know one woman who would tell you that having random groups of men who are private citizens aggressively patrolling the streets would make them feel safer.

“It's the gentlemanly thing to do.” Reform UK deputy leader @TiceRichard backs more private groups of men patrolling the streets to protect women “on a Neighbourhood Watch-style basis within the bounds of the law”. @KateEMcCann | @AlexisConran

Under my regime, cyclists who ignore the red light and continue to cycle while pedestrians are crossing the road will automatically get 6 years in JAIL.

My personal view is that having "AI driven virtual support as a first port of call" is very concerning. We can't replace actual clinical support with chatbots and chatgpt. People deserve better.

In years to come we'll look at this era and wonder why in light of a global pandemic, economic inflation, growing inequality and technological upheaval we decided to make the private lives of a minority considerably worse.

The Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill has just finished committee stage in the House of Commons. During debates, the Government emphasised the importance of mental health provision in schools to help children thrive. We completely agree - during Children's Mental Health Week, we held an event in Parliament to discuss how we can centre mental health and wellbeing in the education system. Take a look at some of our pictures from the day, and read more about the event below 👇 bit.ly/3CRaw9u

Which current ad annoys you most? For me, at the moment, it is the one about theatre workers hearing a caretaker who can't remember the words to a song so another staff member buys him a blazer off Amazon.

We are so excited to announce our partnership with Here4You for Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week 2025! Here4You is supported by The Walt Disney Company, and our resources feature beloved characters from Pixar’s Inside Out and Inside Out 2. This year’s theme ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself’ focuses on self-awareness and understanding our emotions to build resilience. We're inspiring children across the UK to explore their feelings for personal growth and to improve their wellbeing. 👇 Visit Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week website for free resources! childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk

We warmly welcome the introduction of the #MentalHealthBill today - this is an essential step towards modernising mental health services. It must be accompanied by investment in services & buildings so that people get support when they need it in safe, therapeutic environments.

@Lukejosef_ he has the ideal body shape now. he literally made millions from this body. im saying he would look more stylish if he layered and wore outfits that had more texture and complexity.

It's incredible thousands of convictions could be quashed because one person tweeted his experience. I wonder how many of these scandals are there, waiting to be found.

This is brilliant news. "All prosecutions of people accused of wrongfully using a 16-25 Railcard to obtain a discount at the wrong time of day are being withdrawn and thousands of previous cases are being reviewed, the company said on Monday." telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/10/1…
