Calling me "spoiled" or "dramatic" is not just a painful comment; above all, it shows a profound lack of empathy and a complete ignorance of what it truly means to live with an autoimmune disease.
The photos I shared do not lie, and they are not an exaggeration. They document the raw reality of what can only be described as medical torture: six different needle punctures scattered across my arms, hands, and wrists in a single day, leaving deep purple bruises from blown veins.
For an average person, this would already be an immense struggle. For me, because I live with psoriasis, the impact is devastating due to a real medical condition called the Koebner Phenomenon. My disease makes my skin hyper-reactive. Any physical trauma,such as every single one of those needle pricks,causes my immune system to attack that exact spot, resulting in surreal, disproportionate pain and leaving permanent scars where the skin was breached.
Psoriasis is not just a "silly allergy." It is a severe, chronic condition that causes my skin to crack, flake, and bleed, and it is now attacking my joints as well, causing constant pain. To try and manage all of this, I endure a heavy daily load of medications that alter my metabolism and my body, yet I still have to face the physical trauma of a simple blood test.
This is not a cry for attention, it is not "whining," and it is not a tantrum. It is real, physical pain. Judging someone else's suffering without understanding the severity of their disease is very easy. I don't need judgments; I need respect, understanding, and support to face a daily battle that is already difficult enough on its own.
