High winds are forecast tomorrow (26 Jan) from 12 noon and all day Mon. As the predicted gusts will be over 40mph, Golders Hill Park & the Hill Garden will close for safety reasons. Facilities such as Ponds and play areas will also close. If anything changes, we'll update here.

@CityCorpHeath As the ladies pond has had ongoing sewage issues for the past month, would it be possible to turn the men’s into a ladies pond for a few days a week - allowing persons who normally swim at the ladies to swim at the men’s? Thanks

@AngelineTourni2 Hi Angeline, if you pop an email with details of the problem to hh-swimming@cityoflondon.gov.uk I can look into it for you. It's working as far as I'm aware. I'm probably the best person to help you out at the moment, though I can give you an office number if we can't sort it out

@CityCorpHeath is the booking system working for the ponds? Tried twice this morning and it doesn’t seem to be? Do you have a helpline number I could phone? Thanks

Some additional information regarding swimming bookings for tomorrow: there will be a third session at 10am tomorrow (Monday 13th) at the three Bathing Ponds, NOT at the Lido. We'll add more sessions as we go on. Please remember the staggered booking times previously mentioned.

We’ve had huge demand for swimming since we reopened on Saturday and our online booking system has been overwhelmed with the numbers trying to book. We’re trying to fix this and we’re trying a new method today (for Monday morning swim sessions) which should help. 1/3

Our swimming facilities remain closed for now, and although frustrating, this is really important to ensure the safety of our staff and visitors. Please read this thread for more information on our plans to reopen.

@CityCorpHeath Why has the cost/session increased - as far as I remember the entry fee was £2/session before lockdown? Thanks

When we do reopen, there will be a limited number of swimming sessions and tickets available each day so the facilities don’t get too busy and so that everyone can socially distance safely. The cost of a session will be £4 or £2.40 for a concession.
