Every time I see this scene I remember James Gunn wanting Cornswet to tell Lex that “You hurt my feelings”. That’s when I knew that James Gunn was creatively bankrupt, and this movie is nothing more than an uninspired, lazy and downright bad faith “overcorrection” based purely on critiques the Snyder films faced. Not an ounce of originality or sincerity. Everything about this film screams “see, I’m not Snyder. This is what you wanted, right?… right?”

I dislike this scene greatly. He's screaming about his emotions for what? to convince a hateful man who not only doesn't care but executed an innocent man in front of him for not revealing his secret identity. This was just a weird attempt at a crescendo moment to seem "epic"

@camperry21 @damiebi10 Superman lost money. 225 mil budget, 125 marketing. It took 619 mil at the box office and the studio gets half which 309.5 mil. It did not make back its money.
