Proud Alberta Rockies/prairie/forest girl fighting for AB Independence. Lived in many places but always Alberta Bound. Block those who can’t converse decently.

Joe Rogan asked about Alberta separating. Pierre answered for Canada, not for Alberta. They are not going to fix equalization. They are not going to fix representation. They are not going to fix the system. That is why this province needs independence.

@Bret_Sears I have an 18 year old son with Addisons disease. Something people have lived normal lives with for hundreds of years.. His endocrinologist has MAID ADVISED ON THE EXAM ROOM WALL. He is 18, it’s been offered to him directly 3 times already. Think about that.

Children and Albertans struggling with mental illness deserve protection, care, and hope, not MAID. Yesterday our government introduced Bill 18 to prohibit MAID for minors and for vulnerable Albertans whose sole underlying condition is mental illness, while strengthening oversight around every request to ensure MAID remains a true last resort. Today in the legislature, I introduced Bill 18: The Safeguards for Last Resort Termination of Life Act. This legislation is about strengthening safeguards and ensuring vulnerable Albertans are protected when they need care most. It is crucial that MAiD remains a last resort, not a first response. We need a system that prioritizes dignity, support, and real options. Bill 18 is about making sure Albertans have real options and are met with compassion and protection, not steered toward a choice that should only ever be made in the most exceptional circumstances. Hope should be easier to access than death.
