I believe this was a sincere moment from Chairman Bill Cassidy. He praises RFK Jr. for raising awareness of America's chronic disease epidemic, but he worries that voting to confirm would fuel vaccine skepticism. Respectfully, I think the senator has this backwards. By confirming RFK Jr., the Senate can help restore Americans' trust not only in vaccines, but in all of our healthcare system. Many already don't trust vaccine manufacturers who enjoy legal immunity for any injuries they cause. Many already don't trust our big food producers and the ingredients they use. Many already don't trust big medicine, big hospitals, or big pharma. If Senators really want to increase Americans' trust in vaccines, prove that our federal government institutions are not afraid of uncomfortable questions. Let the facts determine the conclusions. RFK Jr. has said repeatedly he's pro-vaccine, but he's willing to ask the same questions millions of parents are asking right now about ramped-up vaccine schedules, harmful ingredients, and a blind trust in the manufacturers that are enriched by government mandates, even after COVID. He is the bridge to restoring the trust you seek with precisely the people who no longer believe America's healtchare system has their best interests at heart. @SenBillCassidy

@elonmusk As a National Guardsman who just completed December weekend drill, where we held a focus group with our senior non-commissioned officers and raised this very issue, thank you. Our digital productivity is severely limited by the lagging networks and lack of internet bandwidth.

The Federal government computers & software are in such bad shape that they often cannot verify that payments are not fraud, waste or abuse! That’s why the government can’t pass basic audits. They often LITERALLY don’t know where your tax dollars went. It’s insane. My preferred title in the new administration is Volunteer IT Consultant. Need to fix the IT infrastructure in order to make government work. This is a grind & hardly glorious, but we can’t make government efficient & fix the deficit if the computers don’t work.

You would think that after losing this election by a landslide, the Democrat reaction may have been a little different than what we’re used to. Maybe some self-reflection? Nope - same strategy as always. Call everyone who disagrees racist, homophobic, misogynistic, etc.

If you had told me a few months ago that I'd be voting for Donald Trump, I'd have called you crazy. But as an Independent voter in a swing state, that's exactly what I just did. Here's why: Over the last few months, I've witnessed something amazing happen to the Republican Party... It opened the door to people of ALL backgrounds. Democrats, like RFK Jr. Independents, like Tulsi Gabbard Libertarians, like Ron Paul Immigrants, like Lily Tang I laughed in disbelief at the idea of a "Unity Party" - thinking maybe this was some sort of hoax - but then, I watched it form before my eyes. The only people fleeing the Republican Party were neo-cons, war-mongers, and child abusers. Which to me, seemed like a good sign. Then, Republicans united around the existential issues we face: negotiating peace globally, eliminating chronic disease, stopping the corporate capture of our regulatory agencies, and lowering inflation. I'm not sure why Democrats disregarded these critical conversations. Perhaps they thought we cared more about abortion rights than WWIII. Maybe they were too busy appealing to the likes of Dick Cheney, shifting wealth upwards, and running ads sponsored by Pfizer. For us "politically homeless," the existential issues are paramount. Most of us are anti-war. Most of us are anti-monopoly. Pro-peace. Pro-health. Pro-locally-grown-food. Pro-sunlight. Pro-kindness. Anti-censorship. We could care less about culture-war issues. I'm not sure how the Republican Party became the party of peace, love, healing, and the common man; but here we are. Now GET OUT AND VOTE. Let's Make America Healthy Again!
